Why We Started
A group of strangers can become something special if they work toward a common goal. If kids from all backgrounds are on the same team, misconceptions can be erased and lifelong friendships can be started. Community sports and arts can transcend the challenges of race, misunderstanding, bigotry and status. All kids can build friendships, confidence, powerful memories, leadership and pride if they have a chance to come together through sport and arts.
Our Mission and Goals
Develop and implement informative, educational and entertaining programs designed to encourage local children to participate in group sports, wellness activities and the arts.
Network with community groups to promote local sports, wellness and arts programs.
Provide kids and families with information and resources to allow them to participate in local sports, wellness and arts programs.
Identify and remove logistical challenges to the participation in group sports, wellness activities and the arts by local children.
Raise funds to provide scholarships for local children to participate in local sports leagues and arts programs.
